The history of Zagora dates back to the 12th century, when the Draa valley was inhabited by Jews who left Hebrew inscriptions there. Even if Zagora cannot claim to be a city with major architectural monuments. The remains of an Almoravid fortress are still visible at the foot of Zagora mountain.

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Draa valley - Zagora

Depart your 2 days Zagora in the morning from your hotel in the red City towards the High Atlas through Tizi n'Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260m. We will stop at Ait Ben Haddou village and visit this amazing Kasbah (fortified villages). Lunch can be here. Late we will travel towards Ouarzazate and continue to Zagora passing the Anti-Atlas, the Berber village of Agdez and the Draa Valley.  Upon arrival in Zagora, you would ride your camels to admire the sunset and spend the night in the Camp. Dinner and breakfast.

Day 2: Zagora - Draa valley - Agdez - Ouarzazate - Tizi-N-Ticha - Marrakech

Wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise and come back on a camel for washing up.  We will then departure for Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley and Agdez (lunch on the way). Expected to reach Marrakech late afternoon where the 2 days Zagora trip ends.
