Tangier to Chefchaouen

You will meet your driver/guide waiting for you at the hotel/port/airport, then you will start your trip towards Chefchaouen, which is a popular tourist attraction of Morocco and a cozy city located in the Rif mountains, just south of the Mediterranean. northwestern coast of Morocco. Chefchaouen is known as the "blue city" for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue walls of the medina and the markets offering some unique native crafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. Night in a Riad in the Medina. (Bed and breakfast)

Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubulis and Meknes

After breakfast at your Riad, you will begin your day towards Volubilis (the Roman ruins from 250 BC). Photo stops along the way before you get there, to explore this ancient Roman city of Volubilis with a local guide (optional). He will be fascinated by its well-preserved mosaics, palaces, baths and towering arches. Then, he will drive to Meknes, which is one of the imperial cities and once capital of Morocco under the rule of Moulay Ismail. Meknes is home to many palaces and mosques, beautiful gates like (Bab Mansour). The ancient city of Meknes is surrounded by thick walls. Lunch will be there and we will head to Fez, where we will spend the second night in a Riad (bed and breakfast).

Exploring Fes with a Locale Guide

After breakfast at your riad, you will begin to explore the oldest city in Morocco. Walking through its alleys and small streets. Our visit begins by visiting the gate of the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarters, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. (built during the 16th century). We will ensure that you visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Mausoleum of Mulay Idriss. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez. Overnight accommodation in the Riad itself. Bed and breakfast.

Fez to Merzouga via Ifrane Midelt and Atlas mountains

After breakfast at your riad. You will leave Fez heading to Ifran, a beautiful mountain city, known as "the Switzerland of Morocco" and then to Midelt. During this trip, you will be able to glimpse the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains. Stop at the famous Azrou cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you can see the Barbary apes. After some time inside the forest, your journey continues towards Midelt along the magnificent Atlas Hills and Mountains. After the town of Midelt, you will travel through the fascinating Tizi Ntalghamt Pass and Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas Plateau. You will notice how the landscape changes as you approach the town of Errachidia. You will then travel along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views on the way to Erfoud. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon to ride a camel across the ocean of dunes. Stopping to take photos along the way and arriving at camp at sunset. Night in the camp with traditional music, dinner and breakfast.

Merzouga to Dades via Todgha gorges and Tinghir

You will wake up early in the morning to watch and take photographs of the sunrise. Then you will have breakfast and return quietly by camel to the town of Merzouga. Along the way you can't help but appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which change with the light as the day progresses. Meet your driver and set out for the Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Lunch will be wherever you want and then you will drive to the Dades Valley where you will see the majestic sand castles and incredible rock formations known as "monkey fingers". Overnight in a Hotel. (Dinner and breakfast)

Dades to Marrakech via Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and high Atlas Mountain

After breakfast at the hotel, the last day of our trip will begin by traveling the route of a thousand kasbahs, the valley of roses and a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt (the former residence of the Glaoui) in Ourzazate. Then to Ait Benhaddou, an ancient Kasbah (fortified village) listed as a UNESCO heritage site. Many famous films were filmed there and then another 4 hours of travel through the tizi ntichka pass with stops. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Return to your hotel and the end of your tour.
